Anna Sheffield of Bing Bang writes for The Moment


Anna Sheffield has been designing Bing Bang jewelry since 2002.

The heavily tattooed Sheffield is known for her stark, sculptural and sometimes menacing designs.

She has collaborated with Philip Lim and Marc Jacobs, making jewelry for their runway shows — and some say she’s been a muse to Jacobs.

The Bing Bang line has grown from women’s pieces to include bags, belts and men’s accessories. The designer has also launched a fine jewelry line, Anna Sheffield Fine Jewelry.

In 2007, Sheffield was nominated for a CFDA Swarovksi award for accessories; most recently, her second seasonal collection of fine jewelry became available on the main floor of Barneys New York.
