Dean Wareham DJs and is followed by performances by Cheval Sombre and Heraty Law client My Robot Friend. From Time Out New York: My Robot Friend puts on one of the most entertaining shows in town. Clad in a homemade suit of neon and Christmas lights, he banters with the crowd in a processed voice and sings poppy romps filled with lewd lyrics over prerecorded tracks while also playing some keyboards and guitar.

9PM – Deez Nuts: A Musical Massacre, written by multi-talented and long-time Heraty Law client Sacha Jenkins and collaborator Peter Oasis. Deez Nuts explores the highly-acclaimed underground rap duo The Beatnuts. Told through the story of fellow Queens-ite turned journalist, on a fact-finding mission, returning to the old neighborhood in order to meet group members Psycho Les and JuJu. This journey not only nets cultural nuggets about the Latino duo and their surroundings, but crucial observations about self and the state that created hip hop. Ohio Theater, 66 Wooster St, NYC.

12PM – 2PM  Brooklyn Chile Peppers n Chocolate Takedown. Fellow NYLS alumna, former Heraty Law law clerk, and newly-admitted attorney Katie Feola and friend Anne Garrett will be defending their culinary title at the Chiles & Chocolate Takedown at the Osborne Garden at the Parkway Gate of the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens. Only the first 300 will be admitted to the cook-off. The Takedown and the entire Chile Pepper Festival is free with admission to the BBG.
