weekend delight of cookies and crafts

Heraty Law client Renegade Craft Fair is mounting their Holiday Sale in San Francisco this weekend, December 19 & 20 from 11am to 7pm at the Fort Mason Center Herbst Pavilion. There will be raffles for good shtuff from Chronicle Books, Jenny Hart’s Sublime Stitching, Pinball Publishing, signed copies of Ed Roth’s Stencil 101 Decor, and Faythe Levine’s Handmade Nation – both the book and the DVD documentary! Free copies of Readymade Magazine can be found at the Renegade Craft Welcome Station.

If you’re in Brooklyn this weekend, go visit the Cookie Takedown event at the Bell House on Sunday, December 20th at 6:30PM. The takedown is staged by Matt Timms, who is also responsible for this past summer’s popular Chili Takedown (totally pwned by the Chocolate Chile Bread Pudding by our friends Katie Feola and Anne Garrett). Just $10 gets you all-you-can-eat cookie goodness from thirty different bakers, plus spiked eggnog to help you wash it down.as they say, “Excuse me, but cookies.”
